After the SJNC outing finished, I stopped at
Pocologan and - bonus! - in the waning light, I found a little
flock of Purple Sandpipers on the rocks at low tide.

I recorded my first lifer Purple Sandpiper on an
SJNC outing when we stopped at Green point.
It was quite a way away (see red circle at left, @400mm),
that enlarged (at right) was barely even a record shot. |
