Dealing with an army of Army Ants |

We all had a little chuckle when another
group passed us, stopped, and then we watched more and more of them
start hopping around and scratching; they were smack in the middle
of an Army Ant swarm. We avoided them by walking through quickly.
These and Leaf-cutter Ants were the most common. Andy pointed out a
large (at least 1 inch) Bullet Ant at one point -- so named because
its poisonous bite feels just like being shot.
